How to Make Sattu Masala Chapati

STEP 1

Take the Ready Mix

Start with your Pitarafest Sattu Masala Chapati Ready Mix. Measure out the required amount into a large mixing bowl this is the base of your flavourful chapati, packed with the goodness of sattu and aromatic masalas.

STEP 2

Prepare the Dough

Add water little by little to the mix and knead it into a soft, smooth dough. For extra softness, add 1–2 teaspoons of oil. Once mixed well, let the dough rest for 5–10 minutes this makes rolling much easier.

STEP 3

Portion and Roll

Divide the dough into small equal portions and roll each into a smooth ball (peda). Dust lightly with dry flour, then use a rolling pin (belan) to flatten each ball into a round, even chapati.

STEP 4

Cook on the Tawa

Heat a tawa on medium flame. Place the rolled chapati on the hot tawa and cook until bubbles start to appear on the surface, then flip it. Apply a little ghee or oil on top if desired this adds a beautiful golden finish and rich aroma.

STEP 5

Serve Hot & Enjoy

Remove the chapati from the tawa while it's still warm. Serve fresh with sabji (vegetable curry) 🥘 or a side of tangy pickle 🥒. Best enjoyed hot, straight off the tawa just like homemade!
